ReplyDeleteA5: Compound sentence is a sentence that joins two independent clauses with comma and FANBOYS and semi-colon. Ex: My friend invited me to a tea party, but my parents didn't let me go.
A6: Complex sentence is a sentence which joins at least two dependent clause, and it uses some words, for example although, to combine the clause. Ex: Because I was late, I couldn't take the quiz.
