  1. A4: Simple sentence means a sentence contains a subject and verbs. Ex: Quincie comes from Taiwan.

    A5: Compound sentence is a sentence that joins two independent clauses with comma and FANBOYS and semi-colon. Ex: My friend invited me to a tea party, but my parents didn't let me go.

    A6: Complex sentence is a sentence which joins at least two dependent clause, and it uses some words, for example although, to combine the clause. Ex: Because I was late, I couldn't take the quiz.

    - concluding sentence: It summarizes the paragraph.
    - central Idea: It's always in the introduction, It controls the paragraph.

    2 - Find a topic.

    - let some one to read it and fix the mistakes.
    - write the process.

    3 - The introduction:it Reviews the essay.
    - The body: It talkes about the main points of the essay.
    - The concluding: It summarizes the essay.

    - A compound sentence combines two or more independent clauses with , and FANBOYs or semicolon. And a complex sentence uses dependent markers such as if, since, because, so on.
    A compound complex sentence joins compound sentence and complex sentence.
    - If I have much money, I hope to help poor persons, but I don't have enough money.

    - It shows instructions or steps in a process, and includes specific directions and logical order.

  8. 14. A run-on sentence is two or more independent clause connected with comma, punctuation and conjunction. ( When she was a child she did not like tomato.)

    15. A noun clause is dependent clause, part of independent clause, and it can be subject or object.
    ( That I pass the test is what I believe.)

    16. A paraphrase is almost as long as the original, but a summary is much shorter than original.
