Help the New Students
For today's post, please write about some of the things that you've learned in class so far. Also write about some of the things that you've enjoyed and found to be difficult. This will help your new classmates understand more about the class.
We learned what is compound, complex sentence and how to write process essay. We learned about these things and made many examples. As we write essay, we brainstorm and choose each topic and make outline. I like to write essay but sometime we did not have enough time to write.
I think the class is easy specially when the teacher like Todd makes the class very easy and the time runs fast and we don't feel it, so the class won't be boring. the difficult thing that I had before and became easy to me is the essay. I had problems with the easy, but I finally passed this problem. The class was from 8:30 in the morning, but the new students are lucky, the class now is from 9:10. Finally, as I said the class is not difficult, and the teacher has amazing skills to teach us that you will find them soon.
I knew a lot of people, and learned a lot of things from this class. Though I had writing classes before , I learned more in this class. The schedule here is much slow but detailed. We will practice many times and use the writing style well before we learn the next type of writing. It is a good and worthy class to choose. I'm lucky and happy to stay in level 5B.
We started every class with warm-up writing. We learned about writing essay so far, especially progress essay and comparison essay. And we wrote a paragraph about a custom in each country. I was interested class about "The Super Bowl" and "Valentine's Day" But, we must take a quiz every thursday; It;s difficult! We will improve the writing skill in this class.
First, I would like to welcome the new students students again and I hope they will enjoy, learn and share with us their cultures and goals. I'm really enjoying this class with my teacher and classmates, and I ensure the new students they will too. Because my teacher is a good, nice person who like his students and try his best to make you learn a new things, and make you also good in English. Also the classmates are tremendas mates, because they are all lovely, and they can help you whenever the help is needed. And we have learned in class about grammar such as the FANBOYS and commas, which tells you about how to use the coordinating conjunction. So, I hope you guys will have fan with us, and thank you for giving us the chance meeting you.
dear new students its the best class your going to study in you wont forget about these class is the best for many reasons one of these reasons is that Im going to be your classmate the second reasons that u can learn things that can help u do a PHD in writing and grammar and if you need any hel just call 911 no!!! dont do it u can ask me and samat and todd he is a really helpful teacher < this is only for new students >
Dear yuya and ikue As you guess, We have been studying with Todd for 1 month and we have learned many things about the writing that will help us during the college time. The class started with the structures of sentences and kept going with paragraphs and essays. Also we learn different vocabularies and these are asked on Thursdays in terms of small quizes. So we have to study day by day and keep our minds alive P.S If u don't like writing, u should start to like it as soon as possible.
